KATV has an opening for a Studio/Audio Technician. This position provides camera skills for live telecasts, any pre-production, post-production, or promotion sessions. Performs duties related to all areas of production including studio set-up and tear down, blocking, lighting, teleprompter, and floor directing. Also, provides Audio skills for newscasts, specials and commercials as needed. One year of experience in TV studio production preferred and knowledge of television camera equipment required.
A College degree in Radio/TV or related field is preferred. Related experience will be evaluated by department management and may be substituted on the basis of one year of experience equals one year of education. You must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds, be able to work nights and weekends. Dependability and promptness is a must.

Requirements & Skills:

• Fluency in English.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be familiar with prevailing digital technologies such as Google Analytics, ad tagging, Flash, SEM, behavioral & contextual targeting.
• Minimum three years' experience in sales, preferably in the digital field.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Experience guiding, directing and motivating subordinates, including setting performance standards and monitoring performance.
• Experience establishing long-range objectives and specifying the strategies and actions to achieve them.
• Ability to identify the developmental needs of others and to coach, mentor or otherwise help others to improve their knowledge or skills.
• Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment.
Physical Demands & Work Environment:
The Digital Sales Manager must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, work outdoors in all weather conditions, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.
