As a member of the Nexstar sales team, the Integrated Digital Specialist(IDS) is responsible for generating, growing and managing internet marketing revenue for the company. The IDS is the market’s subject matter expert on internet marketing services and will work, both independently and in coordination with the Nexstar sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals in the internet marketing services area. The individual that fills this position will have the following responsibilities: • Develop and execute go to market sales strategies and tactics for local clients that result in exceeding personal and company revenue targets. • Establish, maintain and grow meaningful client relationships. • Be an effective educator and ambassador both internally and externally on the benefits of internet marketing strategies for clients. • Conduct educational forums and/or seminars for clients. • Be an effective closer. • Offer meaningful contributions to the local sales team on a regular basis concerning best practice and new products in the internet marketing realm. • Work closely with agencies in helping their clients understand our products and follow through with the sales close and implementation of Hyfn products. • Work closely with the Hfyn support team through open communication to best manage client campaigns. • Daily observation of campaign performances and building of reports for clients that explain performance with suggestions for optimizing campaigns
• Managing account receivables for your book of business. As a member of the Nexstar sales team, the Integrated Digital Specialist(IDS) is responsible for generating, growing and managing internet marketing revenue for the company. Radio Station KASU 91.9 FM at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro seeks a full-time broadcast engineer in charge of technical operations for the station including transmitter site and studio operation, maintenance, repair, and planning. The KASU Engineer reports to the KASU Station Manager. The successful applicant will be designated as the Chief Operator of the station, responsible for FCC required
paperwork and logs, installation and maintenance of all broadcast and studio equipment as needed.

Duties:
Keep the FM station broadcasting at optimum capacity, reach and quality, complying with all applicable federal rules and regulations of the FCC and tower lighting requirements of the FAA. Interpret FCC and rules and regulations.
Maintain broadcasting equipment at the site of the 100,000 watts ERP Broadcast Electronics transmitter and 670 ft HAAT tower, the Studio-Transmitter Link (STL), and at production studios on campus. Conduct bench repair on equipment and, for larger jobs, coordinate with appropriate vendor and service companies. Install needed equipment and software upgrades.

Regularly review the operating status of the station’s facilities, report real or potential problems, and make recommendations for correction and improvement. Recommend equipment replacement, additions, or modifications as needed.
In coordination with management and other station departments, direct planning and technical advisement for improved operation such as changing studio configuration and/or efficient use of space to meet changing needs and to improve the production of content.
Advise station staff in digital operations related to streaming, station web site and social media functions. Coordinate repair, replacement and improvement of equipment related to these needs.
Related duties

Through a reciprocal arrangement with the Department of Media at Arkansas State University, that department’s technicians can be available to assist and/or advise the KASU engineer during emergencies, or to be on call when the KASU Engineer is on leave. The KASU engineer can also be available to assist and/or advise Media department technicians when needed during emergencies and special projects. These reciprocal arrangements during specific date and time periods must be approved by the KASU station manager and the academic chair of the Department of Media.
Some night and weekend work, resulting in compensatory time, will be required.

Knowledge, Abilities, and Certifications
Knowledge of transmitter and related analog and digital equipment for on-air broadcast, analysis and correction; knowledge of current and applicable rules and regulations of the FCC and other entities such as the FAA as they affect broadcast operation; ability to evaluate on-air broadcasting and studio equipment and facilities, including suggested updates; ability to repair equipment and to coordinate repairs.
Must provide evidence of certification in radio and/or television engineering from the Society of Broadcast Engineers. Successful applicants must document five years of professional experience in broadcast engineering or a closely related field. A college degree in electrical engineering or related field is preferred. FCC operator licensing is a plus.

Substitution of broadcast engineering education in related technologies, for experience, may be made as follows:
A state registered Professional Engineer's license will count as four (4) years experience for all levels of certification.
A bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical engineering or similar field will count as four (4) years experience.
A similar associate degree will count as two (2) years experience.
Years of related accredited education, i.e., military, correspondence, etc. can be substituted, year for year, up to four (4) years.
